I aspire to enter HKU because of its high teaching quality and the whole-person education. I believe that studying in HK will broaden my horizons at a more open stage.
Having been studying in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, I have great passion in participating in extra-curriculum activities. Moreover, I was awarded an honorary title called “Excellent Individual in Social Practice”.
I am interested in engineering in my high school study, especially mechanical engineering. I attended an activity held by Chengdu No.7 High School Science and Technology Association, whose aim was to build the strongest bridge with paper. I was awarded the second prize. So I want to major in engineering in HKU.
Of course there's a long and hard way to go, as I'm expecting further study after university. And I hope HKU to be the very start of my dream. I'm longing for a beautiful encounter with you, University of Hong Kong.
