Candidates for the research scientist position must:
- Possess or expect a BS degree from one of Taipei’s top 2 universities
(or from one of the top 50 universities in the world) in a highly
analytical field, such as:
o Engineering
o Mathematics
o Physics
o Computer Science
o Or any other related field that is highly analytical and quantitative
- Ranked as top 20% in class for bachelor’s degree
- International or regional Mathematical Olympiad medal is a plus
- Have a research scientist mindset, i.e., be a deep thinker, creative,
persevering, smart, a self-starter, etc.
- Be competent in a programming language (C++ or C)
- Understand English
- Have a strong interest in learning about worldwide financial markets
- Have a strong work ethic
