Conference Objective
The 2009 Washington conference will focus mainly on the current global financial trend. Panel discussions for the conference will be centered around the global financial market, including the monumental changes on Wall Street and the mergers and acquisitions of both commercial and investment banks. These transformations will have an incalculable impact on the global market. It is necessary not only to discover what went wrong, but also to decide what should be done to regain confidence and begin rebuilding.

The shift in the international financial industry has not only affected it internally, but also caused a chain reaction of adjustments in the global market. In answer to this, business leaders around the world are strategizing and venturing to come up with new action plans. The Washington conference will invite industrial and academic leaders to collaborate in discussions on international development and construct a medium in which to search for consensus. Undertaking this dialogue will require the participation of young future leaders, and so the summit will also invite students from the US, China, India and Japan to take part.

Conference Agenda
Panel discussions will cover financial services, hospitality, information technology and luxury goods industries. Topics include, among other things: 'Reviewing the Developments in Asia from a Global Perspective', 'Global Business Management', 'How Should Asia Overcome the Financial Crisis?', 'Changing Values of Youth in China' and 'The Rise of Materialism'. The two-day conference includes a cocktail and dinner party with special speakers and young leaders, and will serve as a wonderful networking platform.
